This week in Kindergarten (March 7-11), the students learned "Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar". It was a wonderful introduction to our Restaurant Centre. Here, the students have begun to practice using food terminology. They have had an introduction to food groups and healthy eating with Madame Demeter in Health class. Now, they have an engaging place to use these words and to put them into whole sentences. "

J'ai faim" / I'm humgry;

"Tu veux manger quelque chose ?" / Would you like something to eat?;

"Je voudrais un(e) .... " / I'd like a ...;

"Bon appetit" / Enjoy your meal, etc.

We'll keep the restaurant centre open for a few weeks to really let the students get comfortable with these gastronomical conversations!
