Much of our time in March was spent learning about 2D shapes and 3D solids. In the photo below, students are using their knowledge of the attributes of 2D shapes to find similarities and differences in the 3D solids I introduced to the centre. Having explored them, the students were invited to create structures from them and to then paint what they had made.
