This week the students listened to a read aloud all about Mme Paré to help them to get to know a little bit about me. They also thoroughly enjoyed a new read aloud today called; "Moi, je m'aime" (I love me). At the carpet we talked about the pets we have, whether or not we have brothers and sisters and the things that we like.
The students started to work at centres this week. Those parents who were able to come to Curriculum Night were lucky enough to see some of this work on display. Students enjoyed drawing self-portraits, seeing what numbers and letters they know... and they also traced their hands to create Fall leaves to decorate our class tree (which is looking quite lovely!).
Next week I'm hoping to remember to bring in my camera so that these posts have a bit more colour!
